This study investigated anxiety and warmth as correlates of expressed marital satisfaction among married expectant mothers in Owerri. Using correlation design, one research question was answered and two hypotheses were tested. Three standardized questionnaires (Relationship Satisfaction Scale α=.90; Non-Specific Anxiety Scale (NSAS) α =.76 and Self-reported Warmth Scale α =.91), were used to collect data from one hundred and fifty (150) purposively selected married expectant mothers attending antenatal clinic in government health institutions on Owerri Municipal Council Area of Imo State. Data collected was analysed at 0.05 level of significance using Multiple Regression Analysis and Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC) statistical tools. Result of the study revealed that anxiety and warmth correlate significantly with expressed marital satisfaction among married expectant mothers. Therefore, it is recommended that Spouses should endeavour to be supportive of each other in marital relationship as to develop trust and confidence that will help reduce fear and possible anxiety.
