A study of identity crises as a correlate of Nigerian youths and adolescents socio-personal problems was carried out among Catholic youths in the Diocese of Osogbo. The sample of this study was made up of 70 females and 70 males—youths and adolescents of the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo. A scale of Youth Identity Crisis and Personal Problems (YICPPS) was administered to the sampled population. The following null hypotheses were tested at the 0.05 level of significance. The data generated were analysed using student t test. The result of the analysis showed that there is no significant difference in the identity crisis of male and female subjects, and there is no significant difference in the identity crisis of youths and adolescents in the church and outside the church. The findings of this study indicated that there is a significant correlation between identity crises and youths' or adolescents' personal problems. It also showed that there is significant difference in the identity crises of male and female subjects. However, no significant difference was noted in the identity crises of adolescents and youths in the church and outside the church. These findings were discussed, and recommendations were made.
