This study investigated influence of gangsterism on academic performance among students with learning disabilities in senior secondary schools Oyo State, Nigeria. The study adopted descriptive survey research design. 10 students with learning disabilities each were purposively sampled from thirty (30) senior secondary schools in Ibadan Metropolis of Oyo State, Nigeria, thus 300 students were selected and participated in the study. A researcher self-designed structured questionnaire of 22 items was used to collect data from the students. The instrument was subjected to pilot testing and found to have reliability coefficient of 0.69. Two research hypotheses were tested in the study while inferential statistics of Pearson Product Moment Correlation Statistics and t-test Statistics tools were used for the testing of hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance. The study revealed the following findings: there is significant influence of gangsterism on academic performance among secondary school students with learning disabilities and there is significant difference between male and female students with learning disabilities. Based on the findings it was concluded that: there is significant influence of gangsterism on academic performance of students, there is significant gender difference on influence of gangsterism and academic performance and based on the conclusions, recommendations were proffered.
