This study assessed the relationship between students’ attitude, self-concept, academic resilience and academic success in two Local Government Areas of Oyo State. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. Three research hypotheses were tested at 0.05 significant level. The population for the study consists of all students in the senior secondary schools in the two selected Local Government Areas of Oyo State. A simple random sampling technique was used to select one hundred and twenty (120) respondents used for the study. An instrument on the title of this paper was constructed by the researchers of this work tagged ‘SASCARAS’. The reliability coefficient of the instrument was 0.76 using Cronbach Alpha, the data collected was analysed using frequency distribution (percentages) and Pearson Moment Correlation Coefficient. The results of the study revealed that students’ attitudes, self-concept, and academic resilience were significantly related to academic success among senior secondary school students in the study areas. Based on the findings of the study, some recommendations were made that teachers should work towards the development of positive attitude and positive self-concept of the importance of academic success, by planning for the affective domain in their classroom. Teaching and learning should be organized to take account of individual student differences.
